Tracy, Humphrey, Wolff for Miami Twp. trustee

Return Ed Humphrey, Ken Tracy and Mary Wolff as Miami Township trustees. Much has happened in Miami Township in the last few years and that pace will not slow - be it zoning, road and other infrastructure improvements, the need for increased police, fire and emergency medical services or more parks and recreation. Humphrey and Wolff  have 16 and five years of experience, respectively, along with a world of job skills that benefit township residents.

Tracy has been a trustee for a year who brings more business abilities to the table.

Each believes the township needs to be operated much like a business, as far as Ohio law allows. Each is making sure the township delivers basic services. All three said safety services are their top priorities, but they recognize these services are very expensive. These three trustees have made decisions in the past year that have caused no great controversies, which means the people are satisfied with the direction the township is moving. The trustees are finishing work on Vision 2025, a comprehensive land use plan that will help guide the township into the future. Tracy said the trustees don't agree on all decisions. But when dissension occurs, they work to find an alternative, which he said is sometimes better than what was originally proposed. So, these three trustees are willing to work as a team for the betterment of the township. Another candidate, Nathan Noertker, wants to become involved in the community and has some good ideas. He's not afraid to tell the trustees he disagrees with them on creating a township center.
