Biography

 

Mary has been very involved in Miami Township since moving here in 1991, and community service is something she cares very deeply about.  Mary Makley Wolff was appointed to the Miami Township Board of Trustees in January 2001 to serve out the unexpired term of former Township Trustee, Jean Schmidt. Mary was formally elected to for a four-year term on the Board of Trustees in November 2001.  

 

Mary has been a resident of Miami Township since 1991.  She grew up in Dayton, Ohio, and graduated from the University of Dayton with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology.  She then earned her Master’s degree from Wright State University in Counseling and Gerontology.  

 

Her family includes, husband of 19 years, Doug, son Evan, 17 and a Junior at Milford High School, daughter Chloe, 15 and a Sophomore at Milford High School and a border collie named Brodie.

    * Advisory Council Greater Cincinnati Foundation Clermont Fund 2002-present

    * Member Clermont 2020 and LEAD Alumni Association

    * Graduate of 1996 Lead Clermont Leadership Class

    * Graduate of 1st class of the JoAnne Davidson Leadership Institute

    * Member of the League of Women Voters Clermont County

    * Member of the Clermont County Republican Party and member of the Central Committee

    * Member of Milford High School PTSA

    * Member of Elizabeth Seton Church and co-teacher of 8th grade PRE

    * Past President of Northwest Clermont Rotary Club 1999

    * Citizen Police Academy Session IV graduate 2001

    * Member Ohio and Clermont County Township Associations

    * Graduate Ohio Township Association Leadership Institute 2005

 

Mary's work experience includes 22 years in non-profit agencies such as, Director of Community Eldercare Services for Clermont Senior Services, and Development Director for Clermont Counseling Center and the Wellness Community.  Currently, she is the Executive Director for Citizens for Elderly Services, Inc. serving Butler, Clermont, Clinton, Hamilton and Warren Counties.
